To me, this rebrand is a lot better than the former WAG name and branding. The thing I love about the rebrand, is that the drawn WB shield in the division's new logo brings me back to memories. In result, here is a little update for my WB on-screen concept: the WAG variant has been completely replaced with the new WBPA variant. This time, when the logo finishes, the shield and the clouds turn traditionally 2D animated. To make the shield's drawing animation, I've used: - The "Stepped Interpolation" modifier in the Graph Editor, to give the animation traditional feel - Nodes: Mix Shader, Noise Texture and ColorRamp (for the paint effect) - The WB shield's "Follow That Bird" (1985) variant as a reference - The Boolean modifier and plane masks (to generate the outline drawing animation) To see the original video of my WB concept: 🤍 Software used: Shield, clouds, studio lot transition, 2D animation - Blender 3.5 Studio lot footage - Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve Fanfare - GarageBand WARNING: - The whole concept's model is not editable, and will not be available as a full model, but is only available as a shield model (without editable letters). - This concept is purely related to graphic design. With the recent Mortal Kombat Legends movie, Battle of the Realms, not only a sequel to Scorpion's Revenge but also the second Mortal Kombat film released in 2021 after the live action movie. There's a little bit of something based on an old meme back in 2019 when people were begging to have Shaggy Rogers from Scooby Doo, in an "Ultra Instinct" form, to guest appear in Mortal Kombat 11. That meme got referenced in Battle of the Realms during the Warner Bros. Animation intro. Before, it was Scorpion to grabs on to Daffy Duck from the Looney Tunes. Now, it's Shaggy who grabs on to Scorpion. We also see a cameo of Scooby Doo. Because of that, here is my attempt to try and blend both intros together.
