Rules: -When a Pokemon faints, it goes into the PC box forever and cannot be used again. -Items are allowed. -When encountering a new Pokemon, I may choose to catch it, but it's not required. -Name all Pokemon. It's been 10 years since I did a run like this...This is definitely more on the Nuzlocke: Lite side of things, but the forced capture rule is grating and not as fun to me, so we're ditching it for now! Q: What is a "Nuzlocke?" A Nuzlocke is a playthrough of a Pokémon game with several self-imposed rules. The standard Nuzlocke rules are: Only the first Pokémon on any route can be caught. If that Pokémon is knocked out or it runs away etc., then no further Pokémon will be caught on that route. Further, if a Pokemon on your team faints, it's out for good.
