Your contributions made this content possible! 🤍 In this tutorial we are using an LCD Display and building a menu system which allows the user to scroll through different parameters. This system is commonly used on hardware devices such as VFDs, microwaves, etc. We will be looking at the software which scrolls through 10 different items and allows the user to change that particular parameter for later use in their code. The menu is inspired by the menu from Flipper Zero - 🤍 This tutorial is for beginners, and I try to describe every single step in an understandable way. We would be using Photopea to create graphics, image2cpp to convert images into C code arrays, and WOKWI online Arduino emulator to test our sketch before running this on the real Arduino UNO. Welcome to this Arduino Menu Tutorial with a Rotary Encoder. Today we are going to build a simple menu on a Nokia 5110 LCD display. Let's get started! Hello guys, I am Nick and welcome to educ8s.tv a channel that is all about DIY electronics projects with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266 and other popular boards. Subscribe to the channel now if you don't want to miss any future videos. In this video we are going learn how to build our own menu for the popular Nokia 5110 LCD display, in order to make our projects more user friendly and more capable. We have built a similar project in the past, but a lot of the viewers of the channel suggested that I should prepare another video on this subject. This time we are going to use a rotary encoder instead of push buttons. Also, the menu we are going to build today has more items to choose from. Let's watch it in action. 💻 Code & Parts: 🤍 Want to learn to code? 👨💻 Check my new YouTube channel: 🤍 🎮 My Android Game: 🤍

#arduinoprojects #lcd #arduino
In this episode I will show you how to make a simple menu structure within your Arduino program. This structure can serve as the foundation for your Arduino application and could be used in nearly any display type environments. This is the first episode in a series where I will be providing some practical lessons on how to write programs using Arduino. These lessons are intended to be useful information that you can use in your own code immediately, but I also hope it serves as a general lesson to get you thinking about how to write code better.

In this easy Arduino Tutorial we are going to learn how to create a Menu on a Nokia 5110 LCD display. We are using an Arduino Uno today but you can use any Arduino you like. Let's get started! This is the project we are going to build. In the display a simple menu appears, and with the help of three buttons I can navigate up, or down and select a menu item. Let's select the first option. As you can see a new a UI screen is displayed and by pressing the up and down buttons we can change the contrast of the display. If we press the middle button again, we go back to the main UI screen. If we now select the second menu item and press the middle button we can turn the backlight of the display on or off. Lastly if we navigate to the last menu item we can reset the settings for the display to the default values. Of course this is just a demonstration project, you can modify it to build your own more complex menus if you wish. Let's now see how to build this project. 💻 Code & Parts: 🤍 Want to learn to code? 👨💻 Check my new YouTube channel: 🤍 🎮 My Android Game: 🤍
